Yamaha Motor Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Spanish Translator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating a variety of documents, including technical manuals, marketing materials, and internal communications from Spanish to English and vice versa. The candidate should possess excellent language skills, a deep understanding of cultural nuances, and the ability to convey the original message accurately while maintaining context.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesTranslate written material from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish.
- Review and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and consistency. - Collaborate with various departments to understand context and intended message. - Maintain a translation memory and glossaries for consistent terminology. - Participate in team meetings to stay informed about ongoing projects and priorities. - Ensure compliance with company standards and deadlines in all translations. Skills and Qualifications: - Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with a strong command of grammar and vocabulary. - Previous experience in translation, preferably in a corporate or technical environment. - Familiarity with translation software and tools. - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. - Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Knowledge of Yamaha products and motorcycle terminology is a plus. Tools Required: - Translation software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ). - Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Online resources for language reference and research. - Project management tools to track assignments and deadlines.
