As a candidate for this position, you are required to have strong copy-editing skills, including proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar, fact-checking, proofreading, and maintaining an appropriate tone. Additionally, you should be skilled in copyediting in Spanish and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G Suite (Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar) is also necessary. In this role, your responsibilities will include copy-editing content with a focus on healthcare professionals. Experience in editing for US English and AMA style of medical writing editing is essential. You will be accountable for all copy-editing aspects of each assigned project according to the style guide, including annotating source references and conducting QA checks. The copy you produce must be accurate, clean, well-organized, and compliant with technical specifications. Moreover, you will be expected to manage projects and workloads efficiently. This entails handling multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining the highest quality standards, and meeting copy deadlines.
