Role Summary

The Spa Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily spa operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, achieving sales targets, and maintaining operational excellence. This role acts as a frontline leader, supervising staff, managing guest interactions, and ensuring the spa environment reflects the high standards of Ode Spa Wellness. Shine+1

Key Responsibilities1. Operational & Shift Management

• Oversee smooth functioning of spa services during assigned shifts according to SOPs. Shine
• Coordinate therapist assignments, appointments, reception duties, and walk-ins to ensure minimal guest wait times. Indeed

2. Guest Service & Satisfaction

• Greet guests warmly and ensure every interaction reflects the brand’s service standards. Shine
• Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally. Indeed
• Ensure the spa ambience, service quality, and cleanliness meet or exceed guest expectations. Shine

3. Sales & Revenue

• Achieve personal and outlet sales targets through proactive upselling and cross-selling of treatments and retail products. Shine
• Train, motivate, and support team members in executing sales strategies and loyalty programs. Shine
• Monitor daily sales performance and support corrective actions. Shine

4. Cash Handling & Reporting

• Handle billing and cash/transaction reconciliation at the end of the shift. Shine
• Record and report daily revenue, guest count, complaints, and operational KPIs. Indeed

5. Inventory & Supplies

• Monitor inventory availability for spa products, amenities, and consumables. Shine
• Conduct daily checks and coordinate with the Spa Manager for reorders. Shine
• Prevent misuse and wastage by enforcing proper stock protocols. Shine

6. Team Leadership & Communication

• Support and guide spa associates and therapists during shifts. Shine
• Brief team at the start of shifts about bookings, offers, and guest preferences. Shine
• Ensure professional conduct, grooming standards, punctuality, and teamwork. Shine

7. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

• Conduct regular floor checks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards. Shine
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and SOP requirements. Shine

8. Promotional Support

• Assist in executing spa promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and packages. Indeed
• Track and report effectiveness of promotions to the Spa Manager. Indeed

Qualifications & SkillsEssential

• Experience: 2–6 years in spa, wellness, hospitality, or related roles, preferably with supervisory duties. Shine
• Customer Service: Strong guest-centric mindset with excellent interpersonal skills. Indeed
• Sales Orientation: Demonstrated ability to sell services and products effectively. Shine
• Communication: Clear and professional communication with guests and team. Shine
• Leadership: Ability to manage staff, solve problems, and make on-the-floor decisions. Shine
• Operational Awareness: Capable of coordinating schedules, inventory, and guest flow. Shine

Preferred

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business Management, Spa/Wellness Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of spa software and point-of-sale systems.

Work Conditions

• Full-time, in-person role at La Marvella, Bangalore.
• Weekend and shift rotations as per outlet operational needs.
• Hands-on environment requiring interaction with guests and team throughout the shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
