Sourcing Specialist

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager at FLSmidth, you will play a crucial role in contributing to a sustainable future by enabling our customers to move towards zero emissions in mining through your leadership skills, curiosity, and drive for change. Your responsibilities will include: - Responsible for Supplier selection and finalization of part costing. - Good hands-on experience in Zero base costing of Fabrication parts. - Making supplier Agreements & LTA's. - Spend analysis. - Cost reduction through Negotiations, Alternate sourcing, VA/VE & BCC. - Supplier consolidation. - Good working experience in ERP. To excel in this role, you should bring: - 10+ years of Experience in Strategic Sourcing, specifically in handling Heavy & medium Fabrication parts. - Experience in steel procurement with knowledge of various steel grades and their availability. - Strong market intelligence regarding fabrication and raw material supplier base. - Good communication skills.
