Role Overview

We are seeking a Sourcing & Product Development Manager to lead product innovation, vendor management, and sourcing operations. This role will be responsible for developing new footwear products (trekking, trail, tactical, and outdoor sports) and ensuring cost-effective, high-quality, and timely delivery from suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

· Product Development

o Collaborate with design & R&D teams to develop innovative, high-performance outdoor footwear.

o Work on material selection, prototyping, testing, and technical specifications.

o Ensure products meet international quality, durability, and comfort standards.

· Sourcing & Vendor Management

o Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, soles, and finished goods.

o Negotiate prices, terms, and timelines to ensure cost efficiency and timely production.

o Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across India and international markets.

· Quality & Compliance

o Ensure adherence to quality standards, performance testing, and compliance with safety norms.

o Monitor supplier audits, factory capabilities, and ethical sourcing standards.

· Project & Cost Management

o Drive cost optimization without compromising product performance.

o Manage development timelines, production schedules, and on-time market launches.

· Market & Trend Insights

o Stay updated with global outdoor, tactical, and performance footwear trends.

o Provide inputs to design & marketing teams on materials, innovations, and consumer insights.

Key Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Footwear Technology, Fashion/Accessory Design, Supply Chain, or related fields.

· 4–7 years of experience in footwear sourcing, product development, or category management.

· Strong understanding of outdoor/athletic/defense footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.

· Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.

· Knowledge of global supply chain practices, quality testing, and compliance.

· Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
