Job Description

Role Objective

cost reduction, supply continuity, vendor performance, import procurement

Key Responsibilities

Lead supplier negotiations and deliver
annual cost-reduction targets
; validate savings with Finance
Define
strategic sourcing mix
(domestic vs import) and develop alternate / NPD vendors
Manage
import procurement
, including INCOTERMS, lead times, duties, and documentation
Align procurement with production plans to ensure
material availability
while controlling inventory
Monitor and improve
vendor QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery)
performance
Drive vendor reviews, audits, and corrective action plans
Lead, mentor, and review performance of the sourcing & procurement team
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and manage supply risks
Prepare and present
monthly MIS, dashboards, and management reports

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in
bearing / auto components / engineering manufacturing
industry
Exposure to both
domestic and international vendors
Proven track record in
cost reduction and supply chain continuity
Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills
