Sourcing Executive

Job Title: Sourcing Executive Textiles (Bed Linens & Towels)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Executive with hands-on experience in textile sourcing—particularly in bed linens and towels. The ideal candidate will support the procurement lifecycle, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials aligned with design, compliance, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management & Development

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for bed linens, towels, and related textile categories
• Maintain strong relationships with mills & manufacturers

• Material Sourcing & Sampling

• Source fabrics and trims based on design and client requirements
• Coordinate sample development, approvals, and quality checks

• Costing & Negotiation

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times with vendors
• Conduct comparative cost analysis and maintain costing sheets

• Quality & Compliance

• Ensure materials meet required GSM, backing types, and finishing standards
• Collaborate with team for shrinkage, color fastness, and durability testing
• Support documentation for ISO and buyer compliance audits

• Process Coordination

• Track procurement timelines and ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain sourcing records, vendor scorecards, and fabric libraries

• Market Intelligence

• Monitor textile trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing channels
• Visit trade fairs, mills, and local markets to explore new sourcing opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering preferable
• 2+ years of sourcing experience in home textiles (bed linens, towels)
• Strong understanding of GSM, CBM, weave types, and finishing processes
• Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and costing tools
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
• Ethical, organized, and quality-focused mindset

Preferred Traits:

• Exposure to export documentation and compliance protocols
• Familiarity with sustainable and OEKO-TEX certified sourcing
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design & operations teams
