Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Sourcing Executive in Coimbatore, working Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring raw materials from suitable suppliers to support project execution and ensure timely, cost-effective procurement. You will: Source all raw material parts required for new projects based on engineering needs. Research and identify suitable suppliers through online platforms. Establish contact with vendors via phone/email and send RFQs Receive and analyze quotes from at least three vendors, focusing on price, lead time, and MOQ. Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and credit terms for optimal value. Update and maintain sourcing sheets with accurate costing and vendor details. Coordinate with the quotation team and submit costing for Canada/USA projects to the department head. Update ERP systems with standard costs and preferred vendor information. Ensure alignment with procurement policies and support supplier relationship management. You have: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles. Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills (email and verbal). Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
