Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the

  solvent extraction system

  for crude rice bran oil production.
• Supervise process parameters such as

  temperature, pressure, and solvent flow

  to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle

  Extractor, Desolventizer-Toaster (DT), Evaporator, and Condenser

  units efficiently.
• Maintain accurate

  log sheets, operational data, and daily production reports

  .
• Identify process deviations and coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with

  safety, health, and environmental (SHE)

  regulations.
• Support plant start-up, shutdown, and cleaning operations as required.
• Coordinate with laboratory staff for

  oil quality testing and FFA monitoring

  .

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / ITI / B.Sc.

  in Chemical, Mechanical, or related field.

• 2–5 years

  of experience in a

  Solvent Extraction Plant

  (preferably rice bran or other edible oils).
• Strong understanding of

  hexane recovery, oil extraction, and desolventization systems

  .
• Basic knowledge of

  instrumentation and process control systems (PLC, SCADA preferred)

  .
• Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Commitment to

  safety and operational discipline

  .

Preferred Experience

• Prior work in

  Rice Bran Solvent Extraction Plants

  or

  Oilseed Processing Units

  .
• Exposure to

  Crude Oil Filtration, Degumming, and FFA monitoring

  .
• Understanding of

  energy optimization and solvent loss reduction techniques

  .
