Role Overview
We are looking for Solvent Extraction Plant Manager to lead the entire unit’s technical and operational functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in the oil extraction industry along with proven managerial experience and an MBA, enabling them to drive efficiency, lead teams effectively, and contribute to long-term strategic planning.Key Responsibilities

Oversee entire plant operations including production, quality, and maintenance.
Drive implementation of SOPs, safety standards, and operational controls.
Optimize oil recovery, minimize downtime, and improve solvent recovery efficiency.
Lead, manage, and mentor plant personnel across multiple shifts.
Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports.
Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and refining units.
Ensure compliance with statutory norms including pollution control, safety, and audits.
Contribute to budgeting, performance planning, and project execution for plant upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills

B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical Engineering, Oil Technology, Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
MBA (Preferred) – HR & Administration
Minimum 8-15 years of experience in Solvent Extraction Plant operations with at least 3 years in a plant management or supervisory role
Hands-on experience with rice bran or other edible oil extraction systems including hexane handling
Proven leadership, decision-making, and process optimization skills
Proficiency in production reporting
Strong verbal and written communication skills
