Job title

Solutions Engineer M/F

The role of the Solutions Engineer is to provide expertise to better design and optimize Geodis client's logistics network and support the development of new customers by designing 4PL/LLP solutions.
Main tasks:
  • Design Clients network to address their specific constraints (lead time, product availability…) and the related cost.
  • Optimize transport and warehouse at the best cost, service level or low carbon solutions.
  • RFQ handling by managing Bid and Solution Design for Geodis 4PL & LLP customers. Define solution costing and involved processes. Integrate GEODIS standard services into a tailor made innovative offer.
  • Delivering Group Innovation support, expertise and methods for new offers / products.
  • Contribute to Geodis Sustainable Development approach.

Applicant's profile

  • Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, International Businees).
  • Strong communication skills (Written and oral in English and Hindi ).
  • Strong analytical skills, understand data collection, statistics and recognize relationship between various process functions.
  • Experience in solution design and supply chain optimization (network design, transport optimization, inventory optimization, supply chain diagnosis, rate benchmark). Experience using Coupa Supply Chain Guru is a plus.
  • Familiar with Supply Chain tools & IT systems (TMS, WMS, Order Management).
Competences in project management (planning, cost, quality, deadline).
  • Familiar with Lean & Reengineering Methodologies (VSM, 5D, 5S…).
Self-starter and excellent organization skills to be able to handle multiple activities.
  • Qlik developer experience desirable.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi.
