ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

As an Network Solution Engineer, Specialist, you will support the solution design by orchestrating the solution and technology choices within SITA Network and Security portfolio/product solutions used to meet the business requirements of SITA customers.

Reporting to the Communication & Date Exchange Solution Engineer Director, you will be a part of the customer solutions team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide the technical qualification and own the technical parts of proposals submitted to customers through knowledge of SITA portfolio solutions and evolving technologies in ATI industry.
  • Design / coordinate development of standard and complex solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally including the selection of 3rd party vendor to meet customer requirements.
  • Building business case that comprises of all the solution components that includes both infrastructure solution and pricing, and getting stakeholders’ concurrence on the same, and getting business approval.
  • Handing over the solution to Delivery organization for the successful customer bid and supporting the delivery over a period to get the solution delivered as per the solution designed.
  • Promote SITA by furnishing customers with comprehensive up-to-date information on current products product enhancements and new solutions through customer meetings and workshops. Facilitate designs to be efficiently implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and supported operationally.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to gain and share ideas and opportunities.
  • Support account team or competency centers during the pre-contract phases (qualification proposal and contract) with technical designs and advice.
  • Participate in the development of technical account strategies with the sales team to ensure maximum account penetration and commercial benefits for SITA in the long term.
Qualifications:

SKILLS:

  • 3+ years in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
  • 7+ years hands-on experience with Cisco/HPE or equivalent OEM provider
  • IP MPLS and SD-WAN experience with leading vendor
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, switching, routing protocols, and security.
  • Experience with solution design, BOM creation, and pricing tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer engagements.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Knowledge of the aviation technologies is desirable.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and SASE concepts.

Education and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/computer science or related
  • Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE) or Versa SD-WAN certifications.
