Experience- 8+ years About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and solution-driven S olution Architect – Amadeus 1AMS AODB to lead the design, integration, and continuous improvement of the Amadeus Airport Operational Database (AODB) and its surrounding ecosystem. You will act as the subject matter expert (SME) on the 1AMS AODB platform, working closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the system meets business needs, is scalable, and aligns with airport IT strategy. This role demands a deep understanding of airport operational workflows, AODB functional architecture, and Amadeus system capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the technical and functional SME for the Amadeus 1AMS AODB platform. Design and validate solutions that support airport operations, including flight management, resource planning, turnaround management, and stakeholder coordination. Analyze and document business requirements, and translate them into scalable, integrated solution designs. Own and maintain the solution architecture blueprint for AODB and its interfaces with RMS, FIDS, ESB, and third-party systems. Collaborate with internal teams, Amadeus product teams, and airport stakeholders to ensure successful implementation, upgrades, and enhancements. Define and enforce architectural standards, security protocols, and integration best practices. Support technical evaluations, PoCs, and vendor assessments for related airport systems. Provide oversight and guidance during project delivery, system configuration, testing, and go-live phases. Troubleshoot complex functional or architectural issues and guide support teams on resolution strategies. Conduct impact assessments and risk evaluations for proposed changes or new implementations. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in airport IT systems, with a focus on AODB or related operational platforms. Proven experience with Amadeus 1AMS AODB – implementation, configuration, and architecture . Strong understanding of airport operations, especially flight lifecycle, resource allocation, and stakeholder processes. Solid grasp of enterprise integration concepts (APIs, ESB, messaging systems) and architectural patterns. Working knowledge of Linux (RHEL) environments and Oracle databases. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams. Familiarity with ITIL and project management frameworks. Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complementary airport systems: RMS, FIDS, ACDM, ESB, etc. Hands-on experience in cloud/hybrid architecture, particularly in regulated environments. Certifications in architecture (TOGAF), cloud (AWS/Azure), or airport-specific domains are a plus. Experience working with Amadeus professional services or within an Amadeus driven airport environment.
