Our core expertise lies in electronics component design and development for building electric vehicle ecosystems, offering end-to-end consultancy services. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Solidworks Design Engineer located in Ahmedabad. SolidWorks Design Engineer creates 2D and 3D models, drawings, and layouts using SolidWorks software, collaborating with other teams to ensure designs meet requirements and industry standards. They modify and update existing designs, create BOMs, and participate in design reviews. Key Responsibilities: 3D Modeling and 2D Drawings: Developing and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks for various projects, including product designs, mechanical components, and assemblies. Design Development: Creating new designs and improving existing ones, ensuring they meet functional, aesthetic, and safety requirements. Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, production teams, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and meet project goals. Technical Documentation: Generating BOMs (Bill of Materials), technical specifications, and other relevant documentation for manufacturing and assembly. Design Reviews: Participating in design reviews to identify potential issues and ensure designs meet quality standards and project requirements. Analysis and Simulation: Performing tolerance stack-up analysis, design for manufacturability (DFM), and other simulations to validate designs. Standards Compliance: Ensuring designs adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines. Problem Solving: Addressing design challenges and finding creative solutions to optimize designs and resolve issues. Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest SolidWorks features and industry best practices. Qualifications Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills Solidworks Proficiency-Demonstrated expertise in using SolidWorks for 3D modeling, 2D drawing, and assembly creation. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Knowledge of Electrical Engineering Experience in Product Design Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Show more Show less
