Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our Research and Development (R&D) Lab team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform manual hand soldering for prototypes, small production runs, cable harnesses, and assemblies. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in handling components of various sizes, including 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, as well as QFP and QFN packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electronic components according to engineering specifications and schematics.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in soldering electronic components (surface mount components, IC with QFP, QFN, BGA package experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of soldering techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise soldering tasks.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
