Key Responsibilities: Perform manual soldering of through-hole (DIP) and surface-mount (SMD) electronic components onto PCBs. Carry out PCB assembly, rework, and repair of faulty solder joints or damaged components. Inspect soldered joints under microscope/magnifier to ensure compliance with IPC standards . Perform continuity checks, power-on tests, and basic functional testing of assembled boards. Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions . Maintain cleanliness of work area, soldering tools, and ESD-safe environment. Follow quality assurance protocols to minimize defects and improve first-pass yield.
