Soldering Technician

We are seeking a skilled Soldering Technician responsible for performing manual soldering of through-hole (DIP) and surface-mount (SMD) components on printed circuit boards (PCBs). The role includes assembly, rework, inspection, and basic functional testing of electronic boards to ensure quality and reliability as per industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual soldering of through-hole (DIP) and surface-mount (SMD) electronic components onto PCBs.
• Carry out PCB assembly, rework, and repair of faulty solder joints or damaged components.
• Inspect soldered joints under microscope/magnifier to ensure compliance with IPC standards.
• Perform continuity checks, power-on tests, and basic functional testing of assembled boards.
• Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, soldering tools, and ESD-safe environment.
• Follow quality assurance protocols to minimize defects and improve first-pass yield.
• Report non-conformities, assembly issues, or component defects to supervisor/engineering team.
• Support engineers in prototype assembly, debugging, and modifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Electronics or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in manual soldering of DIP and SMD components (0402, 0603, 0805 packages, etc.).
• Knowledge of PCB assembly processes, ESD precautions, and IPC-A-610 standards.
• Ability to operate soldering iron, hot air station, microscope, and basic test equipment (multimeter, power supply).
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Basic troubleshooting and testing knowledge of electronic circuits.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
