Solar Technical Manager (Pre-Sales)

As a Technical Manager (Solar), your role involves leading technical operations and project execution in the solar energy sector. You will be responsible for overseeing technical teams, providing engineering support, and managing project lifecycles from design to commissioning. Your strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in solar energy systems will be crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the technical team to ensure smooth project execution. - Oversee project design, planning, and implementation of solar PV systems. - Provide technical support during pre-sales, installation, and post-commissioning phases. - Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and sales. - Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety protocols, and regulations. - Lead research and development (R&D) initiatives for process and technology improvements. - Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality to achieve customer satisfaction. - Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project presentations. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering (or a related field). - Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in solar energy project management and technical leadership. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and R&D skills. - Excellent team management and leadership abilities. - Proficiency in solar design tools (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope) is an advantage. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.
