Solar Project Manager

As a qualified candidate for the position of Utility Scale Solar Power Project Manager, you should hold a B.E / B Tech / M Tech in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. With a minimum of 10-12 years of overall industry experience, you must possess a minimum of 8 years of specific experience in the Solar Industry. Your role will be based in Hyderabad. Your primary responsibilities will include planning, scheduling, and executing all engineering and construction activities related to Solar Power Plant projects. You will be tasked with ensuring project objectives are achieved within specified timelines and budgets. Additionally, you will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, construction professionals, and subcontractors. To excel in this role, you must implement quality management systems, conduct regular inspections, and ensure adherence to technical specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements for high-quality project delivery. Monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and developing risk mitigation strategies are crucial aspects of the position. Safety standards and protocols must be maintained in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Managing suppliers for timely material supply, overseeing subcontractors for on-time completion of works, and troubleshooting technical issues are key responsibilities. You will also be responsible for coordinating and collaborating throughout the project lifecycle. Analyzing project timelines, delivering feedback for system improvement, and generating project reports will be part of your routine tasks. Implementing daily and monthly checklists for preventive and corrective actions, resolving site-related issues, and reviewing progress are vital for project efficiency.
