Job Title: Solar Project Electrical Engineer Company: Jaimini Group Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 3+ Years (Preferably in Ground Mount MW-scale solar projects) Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar EPC Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Project Electrical Engineer to join our core project execution team in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The ideal candidate must have an Electrical Engineering background and demonstrated experience in handling the complete lifecycle of large-scale solar power projects—from site survey to design, execution, commissioning, transmission, and post-installation maintenance . This is a long-term opportunity for a visionary candidate who is passionate about the solar energy sector and is ready to take ownership and lead future expansion. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end electrical work for solar projects (primarily MW-scale ground-mounted and rooftop projects). Conduct site surveys , feasibility studies, and load analysis. Oversee design, planning, and layout of solar electrical systems (DC & AC sides). Supervise all stages of installation— structure erection, module mounting, cable laying, inverter installation, LT/HT panel setup, transformer connection, and grid synchronization . Manage project execution teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality implementation. Coordinate file movement, approvals, and documentation with DISCOMs and local authorities for grid connections and project clearances. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards . Manage O&M activities including troubleshooting, system monitoring, and efficiency improvement. Regular reporting on project milestones, issues, and progress to senior management. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech mandatory). Minimum 3 years of experience in handling complete solar project execution, including at least 2–3 MW-scale projects . Strong technical knowledge of solar components, single line diagrams, grid integration, transmission lines, and load calculations. Hands-on experience in supervising field teams , ensuring on-site compliance and timely delivery. Proficient in using tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and MS Project (preferred). Excellent coordination, documentation, and file movement skills. Familiarity with DISCOM procedures , statutory compliance, and electrical safety norms.
