Solar Engineer

We are looking for a Solar Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and supporting the execution of solar PV projects across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and engineer rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
2. Prepare system layouts, single line diagrams, GA drawings, and BOMs.
3. Perform energy generation estimates using tools such as PVsyst/SolarLabs or equivalent.
4. Conduct site surveys to assess technical feasibility, shading analysis, and structural suitability.
5. Coordinate with procurement, projects, and installation teams for smooth project execution.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, DISCOM requirements, and safety norms.
7. Support commissioning, testing, and handover of solar plants.
8. Provide technical support to sales and business development teams when required.
9. Prepare and review technical documentation and project reports.
10. Travel to project sites across India as required.
11. Support our customers for using our products on their sites.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in the solar industry.
3. Hands-on experience with solar design software such as PVsyst, SolarLabs, Helioscope, or similar.
4. Good understanding of solar components, inverters, MMS, and BOS.
5. Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings.
6. Basic knowledge of electrical standards and grid connectivity norms.
7. Strong coordination and communication skills.
8. Willingness to travel across India for site visits and project support.
