Position Overview:

QA Functional Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand features and provide feedback.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using test management/bug-tracking tools.
• Analyze test results and report defects, offering suggestions for improvements.
• Participate in code and design reviews to offer a QA perspective.
• Ensure adherence to established QA processes and company standards.
• Help improve testing practices and stay updated with emerging QA tools and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in QA functional testing.
• Strong knowledge of

  SDLC

  and QA methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools like

  JIRA, TestRail

  , or equivalent.
• Ability to write clear and effective

  test plans and test cases

  .
• Exposure to automation testing tools like

  Selenium or QTP

  is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Domain-specific experience (if any) is an added advantage.
