Job Title: Software Quality Engineer – Testing & Certification Location: Mohali Department: Quality Assurance / Software Development Job Summary: We are hiring a Software Quality Engineer to support the testing of software systems used in product certification, lab testing workflows, and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on validating applications that handle technical data, reports, and certification outputs critical to our services. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute manual and automated test cases for internal software used in testing and certification processes. Identify, log, and follow up on software defects; ensure resolution with the development team. Test applications handling lab reports, compliance data, and customer certification dashboards. Conduct functional, regression, and system testing to ensure accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with QA, development, and regulatory teams to align testing with compliance needs. Support documentation of test results and maintain traceability for audits. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline. 1–3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in regulated or technical domains. Understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking tools. Knowledge of compliance, lab testing software, or certification platforms is a plus. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills. Experience with automation tools or basic SQL is advantageous.
