Job Description

Software Telesales Executive

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Software Telesales Executive include:

  • Sales Generation & Target Achievement:

    • Proactively make a high volume of

      outbound calls (cold calling)

      to potential clients to introduce and sell the company's software products and services.
    • Receive and manage inbound inquiries, converting them into sales opportunities.
    • Consistently meet or

      exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas

      and KPIs.
    • Negotiate and close deals over the phone, processing sales transactions accurately.
  • Lead Management & Relationship Building:

    • Generate new leads

      through research and cold-calling and qualify them as potential customers.
    • Maintain and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with prospects and existing customers to encourage repeat business and cross/upselling.
    • Follow up on leads and sales activity in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Expertise & Consultative Selling:

    • Develop a

      deep and comprehensive understanding

      of the company's software products, features, benefits, and pricing structures.
    • Conduct effective needs analysis by

      actively listening

      to customers' pain points and requirements.
    • Tailor sales pitches and offer suitable software solutions based on the customer's needs and business context.
    • Be able to explain technical concepts of the software in an easily understandable way.
  • Administration & Reporting:

    • Maintain

      accurate and up-to-date records

      of all customer interactions, sales activities, and details in the CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
    • Prepare and present timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to management.
    • Provide customer feedback to product and marketing teams to help inform future strategies.
  • Customer Service & Issue Resolution:

    • Handle and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and objections in a courteous and professional manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Liaise with other departments (like Support or Product) when necessary to resolve complex customer issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    Proven experience as a

    Telesales Executive, Sales Representative, or in a similar sales role

    , preferably within the

    software, IT, or technology industry

    .
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Core Skills:

    • Exceptional

      verbal and written communication

      and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong

      negotiation and closing skills

      .
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and target-driven environment.
