Job Description

The DevOps Engineer has responsibilities to design, develop and publish “Infrastructure as Code” and “Configuration as Code” to be used on delivery and IT Projects. The scope of work will include developing, building, and operating a CI/CD model that is self-service and innovative, supporting the agile needs of the project. He/She is requested to understand, and setup Build and Release pipeline used during an application development lifecycle and create the delivery pipeline necessary to provide infrastructure solutions to development teams for non-production and production environments.

Responsibilities

DevOps Engineer Responsibilities and Skills:The candidate will be working as an DevOps Engineer & should possess the following responsibilities and skills:

Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management
Experience working on Windows Infrastructure
Excellent Experience in developing automation scripts and solutions using Python or PowerShell & PowerShell DSC.
Design, develop the automation and publish “Infrastructure as Code” and “Configuration as Code”
Experienced in CI/CD Tools like GIT, Jenkins/Bamboo, Octopus, Ansible, Docker, Terraform & Kubernetes is must
Should have hands on experience in MS Azure Solution design, installation and configuration of Cloud Automation tools with knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
Well versed in leveraging following some or more Azure Services: Azure AD, AZURE Web Apps, Azure API Apps, Azure ARM, Azure Service Fabric, Container Service, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps.
