Software Engr I

As a Software Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software applications that meet business needs. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Bangalore, India location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of high-quality software solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the design and development of software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Implement automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Test Complete to ensure software quality.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 1-2 years of experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java/ Python/ JavaScript, or C#.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
• Knowledge of testing concepts and experience with automation tools such as Selenium/ Playwright, or Test Complete.
