Primary Responsibilities Design and develop robust backend services using Python, ensuring high performance and responsiveness Build reusable, efficient front-end components using React.js Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and reliability Utilize Git and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD processes Monitor application performance, implement logging mechanisms, and conduct regular system checks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role Experience with Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications Experience in managing large-scale applications, with a focus on performance tuning, logging, and monitoring Solid proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of React.js Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Familiarity with CI/CD processes, particularly GitHub Actions. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically Solid communication and team collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Certifications in Kubernetes, Python, or React.js Experience with additional monitoring tools and frameworks Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
