Job Description

The Red Hat IT Partner Integrations team is looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to gain hands-on experience with open source join us as a Software Engineering Intern in Pune, India. In this role, you will work in an environment where diverse perspectives are invited, the best ideas are valued, and people feel empowered to contribute.

As a Software Engineering intern in this role, you will

Work with others to solve challenging and complex business problems
Collaboratively describe and size the work to be done and then implement the solution
Write code and automated tests for the continuous delivery (CD) pipeline

What you will bring:

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, computer science, or a related field in final year of university or tertiary institution
Coding experience in languages like Java, C, Javascript or Python
Knowledge in using relational databases like MySQL or non relational databases like MongoDB
Familiarity in JS Frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue
Familiarity with agile software development and methodologies
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of the UNIX or Linux operating system

The following are considered a plus:

Previous code contributions to or participation in open source projects or code samples on GitHub
