Software Engineer

Salary range: Rs 5000000 - Rs 10000000 (ie INR 50-100 LPA)

Requirements

Key Requirements

• Experience working in organizations with fewer than 100 employees, ideally in high-ownership roles such as founding engineer, early IC, or technical lead.
• Deep expertise in one primary stack (TypeScript / Python / Go / Java), with a strong preference for TypeScript—especially on the backend.
• Background as a product engineer, platform engineer, or ML engineer. (We are not targeting individuals whose primary focus is CI/CD, infrastructure, or data science.)
• Strong backend experience; frontend exposure is a bonus but not mandatory.
• Ability to think independently, solve challenging technical problems without AI assistance, and simultaneously leverage modern AI tools to accelerate development workflows.
  

What You Will Work On

• Build sophisticated RL environments and sandbox systems used by leading LLM teams to train coding agents.
• Quickly onboard to new codebases every 1-1.5 months, gain deep understanding, and design RL tasks tailored to each environment.
• Develop engineering challenges, mock frameworks, testing suites, and task evaluation systems.
• Work across the stack—writing tests, building mocks, implementing backend logic, and navigating infrastructure as needed.
• Create internal tools and agent-driven systems that accelerate the development and evaluation of RL environments.
