About L&D Nexus

L&D Nexus is an AI-powered bilingual corporate training marketplace for the UAE and MENA regions. We are currently transitioning from MVP to a fully scalable platform and are seeking a highly skilled and driven Software Engineer to join our team temporarily, with potential for a permanent role based on organizational needs.

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will take full ownership of developing, scaling, and optimizing our platform. You will work closely with the leadership team to transform the MVP into a robust, secure, and scalable SaaS product while integrating advanced AI/ML features for personalized learning and corporate training solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end development of the L&D Nexus platform.
• Scale the MVP into a full-featured SaaS marketplace with AI/ML integrations.
• Ensure platform security, stability, and scalability for enterprise-level usage.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement and optimize cloud infrastructure, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance.
• Deliver features and milestones within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience in building and scaling SaaS platforms or marketplaces.
• Hands-on expertise in AI/ML development and integration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in modern web technologies (React, Node.js, Python, etc.).
• Experience in database design & optimization (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and milestone-based delivery.
• Experience in EduTech or L&D industry is highly beneficial.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in marketplace development.
• Knowledge of data security & compliance in education/training platforms.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Strong problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
