Minimum of 7 years PHP web development experienceMinimum of 5-7 years Magento developmentStrong working knowledge of Magento 1 and Magento 2Skilled with PHP object-oriented programming & MVC applicationsExperienced in MySQL-based database conceptsFamiliarity with automated deployment strategiesSolutions-oriented thinking and always looking for the smart solution to a problem instead of jumping to the answersKnowledge on top of industry trends and technologies happening in E-commerce IndustryExpert in Git-based source control

Proven Skills & Technical Requirements

Expert understanding of Magento code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fall back componentsExpertise in authoring and extending Magento extensionsIn-depth experience in customizing Magento front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templatesIn-depth knowledge of vanilla Magento feature set and configurationExperience in ERP integrations with MagentoExperience with caching and scaling techniquesExperience in multi-store, multi-lingual, or multi-currency e-commerce implementationsExperience with CSS pre-processors like SASS/LESSExperience in JavaScript and using libraries such as jQueryExperience in web services integrations (REST/SOAP)A desire to be personally responsible for production-level codeIngenuity to leverage all available tools at your disposalComfort working with Linux-based systems
