Software Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, India

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join the AIris engineering team. AIris is Infor’s GenAI-powered centralized knowledge hub designed to integrate, understand, and surface insights from diverse content sources. This role will focus on building scalable integrations, exploring GenAI capabilities, and contributing to the technical foundation of a strategic, high-impact platform.

You will work closely under the guidance of a team leader and collaborate across cross-functional engineering groups within Infor’s GenAI and Infor OS ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable integration solutions leveraging Infor GenAI, Infor OS, and AWS technologies.
Research, design, and build proof-of-concepts (POCs) to enable GenAI capabilities on various enterprise content sources.
Write clear and comprehensive technical documentation, architectural notes, and design specifications.
Follow engineering best practices, including high-quality coding, testing, and deployment standards.
Actively collaborate as a team player, supporting peers across development, architecture, DevOps, and product teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and code quality.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience using Python.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, Step Functions, IAM, etc.) is a significant advantage.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, or vector databases.
Background in building integration frameworks or developing platform-level services.

Knowledge of asynchronous processing, microservices, and API-driven architectures.
