Job Description

SDET (Senior Software Quality Engineer)

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts within sprint timelines.
Develop and execute automated tests to support frequent product releases.
Conduct system integration and performance testing.
Troubleshoot and report defects, differentiating user errors from actual issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality software delivery.
Mentor junior team members on testing strategies and practices.
Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.

Required Qualifications

5–8 years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation and functional testing.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on automation experience using
Selenium with Java
.
Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman/Rest Assured) and database testing (MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
Proficiency in SQL and version control tools like Git.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber.
CI/CD tools knowledge (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions).
Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter).
