Job Description

Role - SDET Engineer

Experience - 4-7 yrs

Location - Bangalore

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SDET-2 to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in both manual and automation testing, excels at debugging complex scenarios, and thrives in fast-paced environments where quality directly influences customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

● Own end-to-end testing for Claims workflows across Auto, Health & Life domains.

● Design and execute manual test cases, regression suites, and exploratory testing.

● Develop and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, and pipelines.

● Perform API testing, backend validation, and database checks.

● Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and Ops to ensure high-quality releases.

● Participate in story refinement, effort estimation, and requirement reviews.

● Identify, track, and drive defect resolution using defect management tools.

● Improve test coverage, CI/CD quality gates, and overall release processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 4–7 years of QA/SDET experience.

● Strong expertise in manual functional testing.

● Hands-on automation experience using at least one of the following:

○ Rest Assured API Framework

○ Robot Framework

● Solid understanding of API testing and automation best practices.

● Strong SQL skills for backend validation.

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).

● Familiarity with Agile development and defect tracking tools (JIRA preferred).
