Software Engineer

Job Summary:

HCL Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated RightAngle Software Engineer to join our Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) team. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting RightAngle solutions, with a strong foundation in C#, SQL, and SSIS.

This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement customizations, and enhance system performance. A solid understanding of the energy or commodities trading lifecycle is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the RightAngle platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages and SQL scripts for data integration and reporting.
• Ensure system stability, performance, and scalability through proactive monitoring and optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience with RightAngle or similar ETRM systems.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, and SSIS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the energy or commodities trading domain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
