Job Title: Principal Architect
Role Summary
The Principal Architect drives the technical vision and architecture strategy for enterprise solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business goals. This role combines deep technical expertise, governance, and customer engagement, while mentoring teams and promoting innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise solutions, leveraging .NET Core, microservices, cloud platforms, and modern design patterns.
Document architectures, create technical standards, and enforce check gates for design and delivery across teams.
Integrate AI/ML capabilities into solutions where applicable, guiding teams on AI-driven design and intelligent automation.
Apply DevOps principles in architecture design, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and DevSecOps practices.
Lead architecture reviews, monitor solution quality, and ensure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory requirements.
Provide expertise in OLTP, polyglot applications, integration patterns, authentication/authorization, and enterprise-scale platforms.
Engage with customers, particularly in banking, to translate business needs into high-value technical solutions.
Mentor architects and senior engineers, fostering innovation, cross-team collaboration, and adoption of best practices.
Champion emerging technologies, architectural trends, and innovation initiatives to maintain competitive advantage.
Requirements
18+ years of IT experience, with current experience as an Architect for over 5 years.
Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, distributed systems, and web-based applications.
Proven skills in documenting architectures, establishing governance, and monitoring delivery quality.
Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, and security frameworks.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
