Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity to work on ProQuest, a leading product in our portfolio. We’re specifically looking for someone with experience in

Oracle ADF

and WebLogic Server. But don’t be discouraged if you don’t tick every box; we’re a large team of experienced engineers. If you’re enthusiastic about learning, we’ll provide all the support you need to grow into a confident Full-Stack Engineer. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions and driving engineering best practices across the team.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Design, related fields, or 1-3 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Design and development of ADF page templates, Business Components, ADF task Flows, ADF Page fragments, and ADF Regions.
• Good Amount of experience in core JAVA J2EE concepts.
• Should be good in coding and have Good Technical skills in Oracle Developer 11g/12C, J2EE Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server (11g/12C).
• Deployment of ADF applications in the development QA environment.
• Good to have experience in creating PL SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Exception handling.
• Knowledge and experience in agile software development (e.g. SCRUM)
  

It would be great if you also had

• Experience in Java 11, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL), Git, and CI/CD tools
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

What will you be doing in this role?

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Oracle ADF and WebLogic Server, and SQL Queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
• Lead and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
  

The product you will be developing

We are building a web platform designed to store information about how PQ/Clarivate can sell access to monograph content and who should be paid royalties when a piece of content is sold. It supports different content sets like e-books, Dissertations, etc.

About The Team

MR3/(TRACS-PRM) is a team of 10 people with a QA and development team based between Bangalore and the U.S.
