We are seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in C++, Linux, and databases to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of database-focused back-end solutions in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and deployment of software projects
• Address technical queries and conduct impact analysis
• Perform peer reviews and engage in design discussions
• Assist in defining requirements and delivering solutions within iterations
• Break down stories into actionable tasks during sprint planning and retrospectives
• Document knowledge and share insights with the team
• Apply principles of Software Architecture and Design Patterns
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial security standards
• Manage multiple responsibilities across geographically distributed teams efficiently
• Adopt Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe
• Maintain competency in software patterns and technical solutions

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of software development experience
• Background in C, C++, and shell scripting
• Proficiency in Oracle database, SQL, and Linux commands
• Knowledge of OOA/OOD principles, test-driven development, and Agile processes
• Expertise in Software Architecture, Design Principles, and Patterns
• Background in working with global customers and diverse project teams
• Flexibility to work in database-driven back-end environments with third-party file-based communication
• Strong communication skills to present technical solutions clearly
• Familiarity with PCI, PII, and financial security standards preferred
