Role Overview

This role is ideal for an experienced software developer looking to transition into a leadership capacity. The position involves the full software development lifecycle and requires strong technical expertise in

C#

, software architecture, and modern engineering practices. The candidate will also play a key role in mentoring team members, ensuring code quality, and driving development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, design, and implement new features for complex systems.
Write and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality.
Develop and manage supporting tools and utilities.
Diagnose and resolve bugs efficiently.
Collaborate with non-developer team members, including support and field engineering teams.
Take ownership of tasks and deliver them independently within a small team environment.

Must-Have

Qualifications & Requirements:

5 to 7 years of experience in software engineering roles.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with C#.
Proficient with version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong understanding of and ability to create UML models.
Experience across the entire development lifecycle—requirements gathering, system analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Stable work history (minimum 2 years in recent organizations).
Prior experience in a product-based company (either current or previous).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively.

Nice-to-Have

Experience in C++ development.
Knowledge of image processing, automation, or robotics.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in lean/agile teams.
Graduated from Tier 1 or Tier 2 engineering institutes.
Initiative-taking and strong sense of ownership.

Work Structure

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week from office)
Office Location: Chennai, India
Relocation: Mandatory
