Job Title: Senior Front-End Developer – React Location: Bangalore, India About the RoleSKF is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to lead the development of cloud-based front-end applications deployed on AWS. This role is ideal for a highly experienced UI engineer who thrives in agile environments, enjoys mentoring junior developers, and can collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly, and high-performance applications. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. Mentor and guide junior UI developers to enhance team skills and productivity. Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and backend teams to design and implement innovative solutions. Engage with internal and external users to gather insights and refine product usability. Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability. Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement within the team. Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs. Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 10 years in front-end development, with at least 3+ years in React-based projects. Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities in software development teams. Strong understanding of agile methodologies, preferably SAFe. Experience in cloud-based applications with deployments in AWS (Azure experience is a plus). Solid grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Background in mechanical engineering or developing scientific web applications is a plus. Technical SkillsProgramming: React, ES6, TypeScript, React Hooks State Management & Libraries: Redux, Redux Saga/Toolkit, Jest Styling: SCSS, Styled Components, CSS3 Databases: MySQL, NoSQL Backend (Optional): Node.js Version Control: Git, Bitbucket IDE Tools: VS Code Deployment: AWS, Azure Soft SkillsStrong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
