Software Development Engineer (Web Front End)

At Furlenco, we're looking for a curious and driven Frontend Engineer who's excited to build sleek, intuitive interfaces and grow beyond them. You'll start by shaping the experience on our flagship storefront, furlenco.com, and internal tools; but this isn't just a "pixel pusher" role. We want someone eager to learn backend fundamentals, influence product decisions, and think about impact, not just output.

You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features end-to-end, track how they perform in the real world, and iterate fast. Roles and Responsibilities

● Develop and maintain the front end of our storefront and internal applications

● Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement new features and improve existing ones

● Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

● Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of applications

● Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high-performance, agile development team

● Strong understanding of RESTful concepts and experience working with backend developers to design optimized APIs that can be utilized by other storefront clients

● Take ownership to support business operations and drive technical decisions

Qualifications and Experience :

● B.E / B.tech degree in computer science or equivalent

● 1-3 years of experience in front end development with a strong product sense

● Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a strong focus on JavaScript fundamentals and functional programming paradigms

● Hands-on experience with React and Next.js frameworks

● Profi ciency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS

● Experience with libraries such as Material UI, PrimeReact, or similar to build consistent and visually appealing components

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

● Solid understanding of both Object-Oriented and Functional Programming Concepts

● Demonstrates adaptability and a growth mindset by progressively expanding responsibilities beyond front-end into full stack development, contributing across the tech stack as needed

● Contribute with purpose by writing code that aligns with the product vision, focusing on impact, scalability, and the bigger picture rather than just task completion
