Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer,
- Deliver code with highest quality
- Conduct code reviews
- Participate in design and architecture of Cloud based deployment
- Technically contribute to cloud infrastructure, security, and operations related aspects
- You are responsible to cut across different teams to find and build effective solutions that’s aligned with OAC’s best practices and guidelines
What You’ll Bring
Must have skills:
- Minimum of 4+ years of work experience
- Technical Skills
- Strong java development skills
- Good understanding of object oriented programming concepts
- Good understanding of unit testing frameworks
- Good exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins)
- Experience writing Unix shell scripts
- Good understanding of Maven
- Good understanding of Docker
- Experience building micro services on container orchestrator like Kubernetes
- Exposure to any cloud
- Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in a Cloud environment
- Strong collaboration and assertive communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of product development is required.
- Have been part of teams building scalable software products
- Good understanding of distributed storage and processing
Nice To Have Skills
- Knowledge on Scala, Python and Terraform
- Experience building Cloud platforms and solutions
- Big Data skills with open source technologies like Spark, Hive Metastore is a plus
