Your Impact
As a Software Automation Trainee, you will gain valuable skills in cloud platforms, data analytics, and secure coding practices, while being exposed to Agile methodologies, AI/ML fundamentals, and DevOps principles. You will develop hands-on experience with programming, automation, and networking fundamentals, including Python and REST APIs, leveraging Cisco technologies. This role will also help you build strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, and leadership skills through cross-functional teamwork and real-world project exposure. Your contributions will support Cisco’s innovative technology solutions and prepare you for a dynamic career in software engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
- Learn and gain exposure in programming, automation, and networking fundamentals with hands-on experience in Python, REST APIs, and Cisco technologies.
- Gain skills in cloud platforms, data analytics, secure coding practices, with exposure to Agile methodologies, AI/ML basics and DevOps.
- Develop strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills through cross-functional teamwork and real-world project exposure.
Preferred Qualifications
- You should have bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Computer Science
- Engineering, Computer Applications, Networking, Information Technology, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Data Engineering or similar fields
- Basic Knowledge of MS office tools
- Good communication skills, passion & desire to learn, “Can do” attitude.
- Proactive engagement, solutions seeking & a team player.
- Must have graduated in 2025 obtained a degree certificate or Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) Cisco Confidential
