Role Overview

Social Media Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of brand social media channels (Meta, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Develop and execute engaging social media strategies and campaigns tailored for B2C audiences.
Create, curate, and publish content (posts, reels, videos, stories, etc.) aligned with brand voice.
Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and optimize campaigns.
Work with design, product, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
Monitor trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to keep the brand relevant.
Engage with online communities and respond to customer queries/feedback on social channels.

Requirements

2-5 years of proven experience in
B2C social media marketing
.
Strong understanding of organic and paid strategies across social platforms.
Hands-on experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.
Creative mindset with excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
Analytical ability to interpret social media metrics and optimize performance.

Good to Have:

Prior exposure to
stock markets, trading, or financial services
.
Ability to simplify finance-related topics into engaging social-first content.
Experience building communities around niche interest groups (e.g., investors, traders).
