Kerplunk Media is a leading digital marketing company in Chennai that provides SEO, PPC, social media, and video services.

The Role

We are looking for a full-time, on-site Social Media Operations Manager to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will oversee and manage social media operations for our clients, ensuring effective strategy development, content execution, and performance monitoring. You’ll work closely with creative and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign success across platforms.
  • Manage the daily operations of clients' social media accounts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to client objectives
  • Coordinate with creative, content, and marketing teams to plan, schedule, and publish content
  • Monitor engagement and track performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.)
  • Create and optimize workflows and SOPs for content approval and publishing
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media executives or interns
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to keep strategies relevant
  • Handle crisis communication and manage online reputation, when necessary
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and meets company goals

Ideal Profile

Requirements

  • 5–6 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing operations
  • Well Experience in Client Handling and Team Handling
  • Proven expertise in social media strategy, content planning, and performance analysis
  • Strong knowledge of content scheduling, audience engagement, and analytics tools
  • Experience managing advertising campaigns across social platforms
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
  • Previous agency experience is a plus

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with paid media and performance marketing
  • Basic proficiency in design or editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut)
