Role Description

We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist with a strong grasp of LinkedIn and Twitter (X) who can help grow our presence, voice, and influence on these platforms. You’ll manage day-to-day posting, engagement, analytics, and strategy- particularly for audiences interested in media, entertainment, and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a platform-specific strategy for LinkedIn and Twitter, focused on audience growth and engagement

2. Write sharp, engaging copy tailored to each platform (professional tone for LinkedIn, witty and timely tone for Twitter)

3. Schedule and publish posts, monitor conversations, and actively engage with followers, industry figures, and influencers

4. Track and analyze performance metrics to refine content strategies

5. Monitor trends, hashtags, and breaking news relevant to our domain and jump into conversations in real time

6. Collaborate with content, editorial, and creative teams to align messaging and campaigns

Qualifications:

1. 2-2.5 years of proven experience managing professional or brand social media accounts, specifically LinkedIn and Twitter

2. Strong copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to shift tone based on platform

3. Deep understanding of platform algorithms, audience behaviors, and best practices

4. Familiarity with social media tools.

5. Experience in entertainment or lifestyle media is a big plus

6. Highly organized, responsive, and proactive
