Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about digital marketing, content creation, and building brand presence online. The intern will assist in managing and growing our social media platforms while learning hands-on strategies to drive engagement and reach.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
• Support in developing creative campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to generate fresh ideas.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, DMs, and queries promptly.
• Track performance metrics (likes, shares, reach, followers, engagement rates) and prepare weekly reports.
• Collaborate with the design, content, and marketing teams for campaign execution.
• Stay updated with the latest social media tools, algorithms, and best practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Strong interest in digital marketing and social media trends.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and analytics.
• Creative mindset with good communication skills.
• Familiarity with design/editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, or video editing apps) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
