Role Overview

Social Media Intern

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves staying on top of trends, and wants to learn how to build a brand’s online presence from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

• Assist in creating engaging posts, stories, and reels for social media platforms.
• Brainstorm creative content ideas aligned with marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to produce high-quality visual and written content.

2. Social Media Management

• Schedule and publish posts on different platforms using tools or directly.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and interact with the community.
• Help track key metrics like reach, engagement, and follower growth.

3. Research & Trends

• Stay updated with social media trends, memes, and viral formats.
• Research competitors and industry trends to generate new ideas.
• Suggest creative experiments and new formats to boost engagement.

4. Campaign Support

• Support in planning and executing influencer or partnership campaigns.
• Assist in managing contests, giveaways, and social media collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (pursuing or recently completed) in Marketing, Mass Communication, Design, or related field.
• Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, video editing apps, or creative tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
