We are looking for a smart, dynamic, and highly creative Social Media Coordinator who can bring Sarthak’s stories to life. The role requires initiative, high energy, and strong storytelling skills to create engaging social media content that resonates with diverse audiences.
The ideal candidate will not only capture photos and videos but also design, edit, and publish content, manage Sarthak’s digital presence, and take ownership of driving visibility and impact across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter (X), Facebook, YouTube, and our website.
● Capture photos and videos of Yellow Room activities, trainings, and events.
● Create short, high-quality videos and reels for social media.
● Conduct interviews with educators, children, and parents for authentic storytelling.
● Write engaging, error-free posts and captions in English and Hindi.
● Manage and grow social media platforms with creative campaigns and trends.
● Maintain and regularly update the Sarthak Foundation website (WordPress).
● Organize and maintain a digital library of photos and videos.
● Suggest and execute new ideas to increase online visibility and engagement.
● Graduate degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
● Excellent English writing skills with strong storytelling ability.
● Proficiency in photo and video editing (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.).
● WordPress knowledge for managing and updating the website.
● Good eye for design, layout, and aesthetics.
● Understanding of social media trends and analytics.
● Willingness to travel to field locations regularly.
● Previous experience in social media management or digital storytelling.
● Background in the NGO or development sector.
● Basic graphic design experience.
● Smart and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.
● Takes initiative and can work independently.
● High energy with a can-do attitude and passion for impact.
● Comfortable interacting with children and communities.
● Team player with excellent communication skills.
