Role Overview: As a Digital Media & Content Associate at Greater Manchester Indian Student Alliance (GMISA), your primary responsibility will involve shaping GMISA's online identity by creating timely, engaging, and culturally relevant content across various digital platforms. Your creativity, organization skills, and understanding of student engagement are crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design and produce visual and written content for social media platforms - Plan and manage content calendars to synchronize with ongoing events and campaigns - Schedule and publish posts using digital tools such as Buffer and Hootsuite - Collaborate with events and outreach teams to promote initiatives - Stay abreast of current trends and propose content ideas accordingly - Monitor engagement metrics and provide performance analytics reports Qualifications: - Prior experience in digital content creation and scheduling - Proficiency with design tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, etc. - Excellent writing and communication skills - Strong attention to detail and effective time management - Bonus: Experience in working with student organizations or non-profits - Preferred: A degree or diploma in Media, Communications, or Marketing,
